Young’s Drug Stores and Long Term Care Pharmacy is committed to protecting the safety, health and well-being of all customers, employees, and other individuals in our workplace. We recognize that illicit drug use could pose a threat to these goals. Also understand that while the use of alcohol over the age of 21 is legal and, nationally, cannabis laws are less enforced than in the recent past, we strictly prohibits the illicit use, legal use, possession, dispensation, distribution, or manufacture of alcohol, cannabis, and illicit controlled substances in our workplace. Any violation of this policy shall result in adverse employment action up to and including termination.
Screening tests for illegal drug use will be required before hiring and may be required during your employment secondary to any behaviors or events deemed a detriment to customer, employee, or public safety.
